At GeniiPress, we needed a clean baseline theme to use for our plugin dev environment –

– something that worked in the most unobtrusive way imaginable –

– crafted to allow plugin load testing without getting in the way.

Comprised of just 2 files : style.css and index.php –

– there’s really nothing to it.

The style.css file contains only header info (required for a valid WordPress theme) and index.php has just three basic elements, the get_header() include call, The Loop and the get_footer() include call.

Not designed for production –

– but useful if you need the absolute minimum functionality in a theme for your test environment.
